Stop Saving Money - WHAT?

We admit, this phrase is extremely difficult to say out loud as financial coaches, but surely we can't be telling you to stop saving money can we?

In some situations, yes...we are saying stop saving. But what we really mean is we want you to know what you are saving for. Have a purpose. Then, use your money to live your Ideal Life, don't just save money for no reason.

If you have money sitting there for no reason and not doing anything, it's purpose is wasted. If money is in an account without a purpose, then it usually means that it will disappear. It will be spent on going out to eat, buying more clothes, electronics, etc. We have personal experience with this. Save money for a purpose. Spend money for a purpose.
