Many people think a Financial Coach is the same as a Financial Advisor.  However, these roles are very different and perform different functions in your financial life.  An Advisor helps you select investments, gives you advice on specific securities (think stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETF's, Real Estate, etc.) that are right for you, and many can help you create your Financial Plan when it comes to your retirement life.  They usually focus on your wealth building in the area of investments.

A Financial Coach on the other hand, is a great resource to have in your life because they walk with you and help guide you through the day to day operations of your finances. This includes but is not limited to your mindset about money, creating a budget, staying motivated to make progress, and help educate you on how money works in your life so you can make wise decisions to reach your goals faster.

Coaching is focused on YOU and your life.  I believe it is the fastest and best way to make progress in any area of your life!

We all know if we want different results, we need to change our habits/actions. So why is it many of us don't make more progress in the areas we are trying to change? There are 2 reasons why we try and often fail:

1. We don't have a big enough reason (the "WHY") to change our behaviors
2. We don't invite accountability into our lives to keep us on track   

This is where a good Coach is invaluable.  They will help guide you to make wiser decisions, avoid bad decisions, and help you become your best self.  In turn, causing you to get better results in the area you are working on.  Secondly, by partnering with a good Coach, you are creating natural accountability to help you make continual progress.  These two things will create lasting change in your life.
