π Filing as a single person you will pay 10% on the first $12,400 you earn.
π You pay 12% on the money after $12,400, up to $50,400.
Example: total income $12,500 you pay 10% on the $12,400 ($1,240) and you pay 12% on the additional $100 ($12) earned. Total tax to pay $1,252
