Train Yourself To Not Negotiate With Your Fear

Fear is a powerful force that has broken the backs of millions of us. In fact, FEAR is probably the biggest negative thing we as humans deal with. Many of us have heard that the #2 fear is death and the #1 fear is public speaking. I'm not sure if that's a joke or true, but regardless, fear can ruin our lives, and most of the things we fear are blown out of proportion in our heads. The simple (but not so simple) way to combat that is to control our minds. But how do we do this? Like anything in life, we need training. When we train ourselves enough, we can change and get better. It's no different with our minds.   

Fear in our mind is so powerful in fact that if you try to negotiate with it, most of the time, you'll lose. So, how do we train our minds? We need to set up a system when we can: 

1) Know when our fear is present 

2) Understand that fear is holding us back 

3) Acknowledge the fear is oftentimes a LIE 

4) Combat that with the TRUTH in our lives 

5) Practice over and over to not negotiate with that fearful though.

Our minds will slowly (or sometimes quickly) convince us that the fear/lie is actually true.  We can only make progress if we move forward, and a lot of times, fear is standing in your way. So, bust through the fear with the TRUTH, and don't negotiate with it.
